GP Synergy is the sole provider of the federally funded Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program for doctors seeking to specialise as General Practitioners (GPs) in NSW and ACT. They offer a diverse range of high quality education and training opportunities across rural, remote, outer-metropolitan and metropolitan settings. Doctors training with them can pursue either Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
GP Synergy and JAM Web Services partnership began in 2007 when GP Synergy engaged JWS to develop an online training management system currently known as G.Prime 2 to manage their AGPT (Australian General Practice Training) program. Over the past 10 years JWS has been a trusted software consultant to GP Synergy, using the latest tools and technologies to develop systems which are critical for their business and providing them with a long-term sustainable competitive advantage.
The Challenge
GP Synergy is the largest AGPT provider in NSW with more than 3000 GP registrars in XXX practices. They require a complete centralised system where they can manage their training activities, placements, facilities, accreditations and supervisors.
The Solution
G.Prime 2 for GP Synergy covers their entire spectrum of the education, placements, facilities, accreditations, supervisors, offer and induction with more than 35+ modules. The system was developed from scratch based on their requirements. These types of requirements and processes cannot fit into any commercial off-the-shelf application. G.Prime 2 is also integrated with the Australian Government Department of Health’s RIDE (Registrar Information Data Exchange) database which synchronises the relevant information seamlessly on a daily basis.
